This policy is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Visiting the website

The website runs on a server operated by Infomaniak in Switzerland. When you visit it, the web server logs technically necessary data, such as your IP address, the time, the page requested and browser information. This is used to deliver the page, find errors and protect the site against abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Fonts are served directly from this website. No data is sent to Google Fonts or similar services.

3. Waitlist

When you join the waitlist, we store:

• email address, country, postcode and role (printer owner or customer)
• voluntary details: printer model(s) and materials, or what you would like to have printed
• your language and the time of sign-up, consent and confirmation

We use this data to inform you about the launch of Extruvo and to evaluate how much interest there is in which regions. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). The data is not sold and not used for third-party advertising.

Email confirmation (double opt-in)

After signing up, you receive an email with a confirmation link. You are only on the waitlist after confirming. This ensures that nobody can sign up with someone else's address.

Spam protection

The form contains a field that is invisible to humans and checks how quickly it was filled in. No additional data is stored for this and no captcha services are used.

4. Statistics

To see how often pages are visited, the website counts visits itself, without any external service. Only a daily total per page is stored, together with the language, the type of device (phone or computer) and the website you came from. No IP addresses, browser details or identifiers are stored for this, and no cookies are set. Individual visitors cannot be identified. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. Cookies

This website does not set any cookies.

6. Contact by email

If you write to hello@extruvo.com, we only use your message to reply. Emails to this address are received via Hosttech (Switzerland) and forwarded to a mailbox at Google (Gmail).

7. Service providers

We use the following providers, who process your data on our behalf:

• Infomaniak Network SA, Switzerland – server on which the website and the waitlist are stored
• Resend, USA – sending the confirmation email
• Hosttech GmbH, Switzerland – domain and email forwarding
• Google, USA/Ireland – mailbox for emails to hello@extruvo.com

8. Transfers abroad

The website and the waitlist are stored in Switzerland. To send the confirmation email and forward emails, your email address and the email content are transferred to Resend or Google in the USA. Transfers are based on the Swiss-U.S. or EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, otherwise on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, which are also recognised by the Swiss FDPIC.

9. Retention

• Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted automatically after 30 days.
• Confirmed sign-ups are stored until you withdraw your consent or the waitlist is no longer needed.

10. Your rights

You can request information about your stored data at any time, have it corrected or deleted, object to processing and withdraw your consent. Under the GDPR you also have the right to restriction of processing and to data portability. A simple email to hello@extruvo.com is enough.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority: in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), in the EU the authority of your country of residence.

We update this policy when the website or the services used change. The version published here applies.
